We had the pleasure of airing an interview with Linda Guillette this week. Linda is with the Relay For Life team and her team is called The Bravehearts. Linda's daughter passed away a few years ago with cancer and Linda has kept the group going since. The Bravehearts are the number one group in Quebec for the Relay for Life teams who raise money for cancer research, education, and support in the battle. To hear the interview go to www.cjmq.fm and then to the interviews section. For those of you in The Townships, there is a fundraiser coming up on Saturday, March 18th.


Tune in to The News & Music Show on March 14th, Tuesday, at noon. Maureen Quigg, volunteer for the Daffodil Campaign for the Canadian Cancer Society, will be talking to us about the campaign and how the money is used. Learn how you can purchase a bouquet or several bouquets of daffodils and help the campaign.


Tune in to The News & Music Show on the Qube on Friday, March 3rd at noon. Gerry Cutting, President of Townshippers Association, will be talking about Townshippers's stand on Bill 62, as well as, all the projects and programs going on at Townshippers Association right now.


Geoff Fizet, defense player and assistant captain of the varsity hockey team at BCS, and team coach, Mike Couch, joined Maureen for an interview about the team and the last local game of the season happening on March 1st at 2:30 pm at Bishop's University arena. Hear the full interview on Feb. 28th at 7 pm and again on March 1st at noon on The Qube. The public is invited to attend the last local game of the season between rival teams BCS and Stanstead College!
